More Nerve News

Finally got in to see the doctor who works for St. Luke's Rehabilitation Center today. So far I've seen 7 Physical Therapists, 2 medical doctors, a surgeon- shoulder specialist, 3 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Chiropractors and now this nerve doctor who has a specialty in rehabilitation.

I have a soft tissue injury as I stated, not a bone/disc/joint issue that has caused several of my trigger points in my neck, right side of my head/face, shoulder muscle, and back to knot up and cause all kinds of symptoms from my right side of my head to my fingertips  of my right hand and also my right leg.

I do not have - MS, ALS, strokes, Parkinson's disease or any overarching disease affecting my nerves. I had a gardening injury.

What he wants to try is a Massage Therapist first, to un knot these areas, then perhaps acupuncture or other therapies. But because this injury is so old it may take a while to fix me. So, good news and bad!

  1. Oh my goodness, Sherry! I can't imagine seeing all those medical professionals, and being able to still be upbeat! Hang in there, and no more gardening, ever. Keep posting about the treatments, and the healing!
